Strategic Plan for Azor Local Council 2030

The Challenge

The Azor Local Council updated its master plan, following which it recognized the clear need to define courses of action that would advance its implementation, with an emphasis on promoting its employment district. At the same time, and in line with the master plan, Azor aimed to define and focus on the immediate activities that would advance its goals and improve the lives of its citizens in the short term.

Our Role

First, we conducted a comparative analysis of Azor in relation to the surrounding authorities and others similar to it. Among other tactics, we used a tool that compares authorities based on their capital resources. From all these, we learned about the advantages and challenges of the Authority and the opportunities and risks that will likely help or delay the advancement of its goals. We then formulated an operative action strategy, which included ten individual project portfolios that enable the Council to advance its goals in the near term and until 2030.
